Count Olaf's treacherous plan this time to capture the Baudelaire's fortune was sawing Violet's head........... The Hostile Hospital,the eighth book by Lemony Snicket is about the 3 Baudelaires who just recently ran away from the Vile Village from an angry mob of guardians, who are supposed to take care of them,but want to burn them to death. The Baudelaires get into a  VFD car ,after nearly getting saved from the Last Chance store owners,and then they land up in the hostile hospital where they get into trouble when Olaf takes Violet and is about to saw her head. Even though being a guardian once,Count Olaf is treacherous and selfish.
